So far, just like most of the rest of my life, I am unfollowed. Oh well, I do my best work when I am left alone!!!

Some say we are in the last days before the Rapture. I don't know but , if we are, it will be good to see our loved ones once again. God bless the ones of us who are willing to put it all on the line for our families. Hooah!!!

‘Yarn Overcomers’ helping unemployed knit away stress WSBT South Bend - Your Local News Leader Local News: "Web sites like www.stitchlinks.com suggest that knitting actually has a neurochemical effect on the brain — possibly decreasing stress hormones and increasing serotonin and dopamine. So while McCreary may have lost his job, he is finding peace of mind.
“Right away I noticed whenever I started knitting and stuff and I would get my mind into it, it was the few moments that I had at first where I was relaxed and at peace,” he said."

Back from out annual training up in the mountains. It was beautiful. It was exhausting. I am enriched.

history of knitting

history of knitting: "Evidence of the earliest knitting, using two needles, is believed to come from Egypt in the eleventh century, where more knitted socks were found.
But from there we jump to thirteenth and fourteenth century Europe, particularly France, Germany and Britain. The painting, The Visit of the Angels, circa 1390, by the German painter, Master Bertram, depicts the Madonna knitting in the round."
"newborns conversation with God

A baby asked God, 'They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?' God said, 'Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.'

The child further inquired, 'But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy.' God said, 'Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy.'

Again the child asked, 'And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?' God said, 'Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.'

'And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?' God said, 'Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.'

'Who will protect me?' God said, 'Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.'

'But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.' God said, 'Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you.'

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, 'God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name.'

God said, 'You will simply call her, 'Mom.'"

"The majority of people (about 60%) who had an heart attack during their sleep, did not wake up How sad. They say to keep ASA by your bedside and to take 2 if chest pain wakes you up. Also sit down while wating for the ambulance. DON'T LIE DOWN
Life is short. I am feeling old age closing in on my body and it is really pissing me off. In my mind I am 25ish. I am still waking up eager to go and , if I can get my body to keep up, I can still accomplish astonishing things. I create , I write, I love. I continue to look forward because I am not yet convinced that I can't do everything I ever could. Show me. Prove it.

It is a good long ride from where I started. There have been many side-trips and some have not been pleasant but I have learned from every twist and turn.
